On Saturday, March 29, former Grand Island Senior High School standout Leslie Ramos’ current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, won 12-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Fort Hays State Tigers.

The game took place at Trusler Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 12 p.m. at Trusler Sports Complex against Central Missouri Jennies.
