On Saturday, March 15, former Grand Island Senior High School standout Leslie Ramos’ current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Shepherd Rams.
The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Rams this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 11:15 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Wayne State Warriors.
