Graduates earn 79 degrees, certificates from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture

About 68.4 percent of the 79 degrees and certificates handed out by Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 2017-18 were to students in agriculture, agriculture operations, and related sciences programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Curtis conferred 51 associate's degrees and 3 certificates in agriculture, agriculture operations, and related sciences programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in general agricultural production operations. Data shows the school gave out 44 associate's degrees in general agricultural production operations, followed by 25 associate's degrees in veterinary/animal health technology/technician and veterinary assistant and 6 associate's degrees in general agricultural business and management.

The college enrolled 335 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
