Hamilton County ranked 12th in Nebraska for resident earnings in 2018

Hamilton County ranked 12th among counties in Nebraska by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Hamilton County residents was $31,630 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 3,699 households with a population of 9,178.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Sarpy County with $38,466 per year after adjusting for inflation – $6,836 more than Hamilton County. It had 65,045 households with a population of 178,351.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Grant County with $21,509 per year after adjusting for inflation – $10,121 less than Hamilton County. It had 293 households with a population of 718.
