Members of the Mid-Plains Community College Board of Governors, college administrators, Child Development Center (CDC) staff and project leaders gather for a ribbon cutting inside the newly renovated CDC Wednesday afternoon at McCook Community College.
The ceremony marked the end of nearly a year’s worth of work to expand and improve the CDC, which was originally constructed in the ’80s. The new facility will create more space for children as well as state-of-the-art experiences for MCC students to learn the ins and outs of early childhood education.
