The City of Alma is now accepting applications for the position of a seasonal grounds maintenance person. Position open until filled. Duties include, but are not limited to: operating a lawnmower, weed eater, tractor, skid loader, pickup truck, trimming and picking up branches, changing oil and maintaining equipment, spraying for weeds, and helping the outside City staff as needed. The applicant would work up to 40 hours per week, weather permitting, through mid-October. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older and be able to perform various duties which are physically demanding, including bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Hourly wage is based on experience and qualifications. EOE.
