The City of Kearney Sanitation Division announces that due to the upcoming Independence Day holiday on Monday, July 4, 2022, the following changes will be in effect for sanitation collection system and the Kearney Area Solid Waste Agency Landfill:
Residential Collection:
- Trash collection will be delayed one day, except Friday’s collection will remain on schedule.
- Yard waste collection will be delayed one day.
- Recycling collection will remain on schedule.
Commercial Collection:
- Trash collection scheduled for Monday, July 4 will be collected on Tuesday, July 5.
- Recycling normally collected on Friday will be collected on Saturday, July 9.
- The Kearney Area Recycling Center will be closed on Monday, July 4.
- The Solid Waste Agency Landfill, including the Yard & Tree Waste Disposal Area, will be closed on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4.
