Ever wonder what the 4-H ribbon colors mean?
In 4-H we use the Danish Judging System to recognize and reward young people for their efforts and projects. This system uses colors to signify different award levels. In Nebraska 4-H, a purple is awarded to superior exhibits, a blue is awarded to excellent exhibits, a red is awarded to good exhibits, and a white is awarded to fair exhibits.
