The Hastings College men's soccer team took on Jamestown in Great Plains Athletic Conference action defeating the Jimmies 5-1 on Thursday night on Lloyd Wilson Field.
The Broncos were able utilized the first 20 minutes to get a feel for how the Jimmies were going to play and then a lob ball from Heitor Olivera found David Panter as he ripped a shot past Mathew English for the 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute.
Then Jamestown made a huge mistake by pulling Olivera's jersey where the ref clearly saw it inside the box as he called a penalty. Tyler Mase stepped up and calmly put away the penalty kick for the 2-0 lead in the 32nd minute.
