Shotgun Sports Places 4th at Prairie Circuit

 The Hastings College shotgun sports team began its season down at the Fort Hays State Shoot where the Broncos finished sixth out of 11 with a HOA score of 1540. Fort Hays State went on to win with a HOA of 1622.

Ty Parsons led the way for Hastings with a HOA of 325. He hit 94 of 100 targets in trap. He connected on 93 of 100 targets in trap doubles, 47 of 50 in skeet doubles and 91 of 100 in sporting clays.

Tanner Dager finished with a HOA of 310 as his best performance was in trap where he connected on 99 of 100 targets. Wyatt Anderson finished with a HOA of 304 and his best was also in trap where he hit 92 of 100 targets.

Hunter Gilbertson finished with a HOA of 301 where his best performance was also in trap with a score of 97 out of 100. Isaac Hicks scored a HOA of 300 with his best performance coming in trap with a 94 of 100.

The Broncos went on to finish fourth in trap with a 482 which was three targets behind Midland and four targets behind Concordia. HC finished fifth in both sporting clays with a 439 and skeet doubles with a 229.  The team finished sixth in doubles trap with a score of 425.

Hastings will now turn its attention to the North Platte Shoot on Sep. 24-25 out in North Platte, NE.
