The Kearney Park and Recreation Department is currently taking registrations for Session #1 of its new Big Shot Basketball Camp for boys and girls in grades 6th-8th. The camp will be held on Thursdays, from 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm, at Horizon Middle School, on October 27, November 3, November 10. Specific skill sets taught during this session include: ball handling, passing, decision-making, shooting, footwork, ball moves, lay-ups, and off ball movement. The entry fee for this session is $20 and includes a shirt. The deadline to register is October 20.
