McKinna Moats/Softball | Central Community College
Central Community College freshman infielder McKinna Moats has been named as the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association Division II Softball Player of the Week.
In six games from March 1-5, Moats sported a .600 batting average, posted 12 RBIs and belted a pair of homeruns as the Raiders went 4-2.
"This is a well-deserved honor for McKinna after she went 12-20 at the plate," said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. "She has been huge for us and will continue to get better throughout the season."
The Raiders are 6-7 and will host Northeast Community College on Tuesday. Game times are at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at Raider Field.
