Chase County High School choir and band traveled to Kimball,
NE on Tuesday and competed in the SPVA Music Contest.
Overall, we had a very successful day! I am very pleased to announce that we had three
"Best of Class" awards for the students with the best performance overall in their 'category'.
Those performances were a Percussion Solo by Freshman Aragorn Green,
Boys Large Vocal Ensemble (Juan De La Fuente III, Mason Tyerman, Kevin Dannatt,
Andrew Wiest, Beau Weiss, and Brendan Pump), and the 9th St. Singers Show choir
(Entire HS Choir Class). The students from these performances will receive certificates,
and a trophy/medal depending on their category. We also had many "Outstanding"
results for other performances, and you can catch all of those results in the local Newspaper next week!
