Washington, D.C. – Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE), Vice Chair of the Congressional Western Caucus, released the following statement on the Supreme Court’s Sackett v. EPA decision:
“On May 25th's ruling is a win for farmers, ranchers, and all of rural America,” said Rep. Smith. “The Biden administration’s WOTUS rule would devastate communities, hardworking families, and small business owners across Nebraska – which would inevitably lead to even higher costs for consumers. Now that the Supreme Court has issued its unanimous decision, President Biden should immediately withdraw the administration’s proposed rule.”
