Census Bureau: 75.1% of people in Clay County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 6,104 citizens living in Clay County in 2021, 75.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 4,585 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 2,341 were male, constituting 51.1%, and 2,244 were female, making up 48.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Clay County during 2021 was the same as the state average, which stands at 75.1%.
