Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) has issued a statement regarding the recent missile attack by Iran on Israel. In his statement, Smith criticized the Biden-Harris administration's foreign policy approach.

“Iran’s unjustified attack on Israel shows the failure of the Biden-Harris foreign policy of empty words. Rogue states can’t be told ‘don’t’ without meaningful consequences to back it up. Lifting sanctions and bungling money transfers have emboldened an evil regime, putting our greatest ally in the Middle East in the crosshairs," Smith said.

Smith also commented on initial reports indicating no serious injuries from the attack. "While I welcome preliminary reporting of no serious injuries, Israel deserves our full support as they assess the damage and defend themselves from future Iranian threats.”
