Congressman Adrian Smith of Nebraska's Third District is calling on high school students in the area to participate in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. The deadline for submissions is set for Monday, April 7th.
Smith is collaborating with the Nebraska Art Teachers Association to manage the logistics of the competition. The rules, guidelines, and submission forms can be accessed through Congressman Smith's official site: adriansmith.house.gov/services/art-competition.
The competition's winning artwork will be showcased in the U.S. Capitol, along with other entries from students nationwide. Smith plans to display artwork that doesn't take the top spot in his Washington, D.C., and district offices.
The Congressional Institute organizes the annual art contest, which is open to high school students from all across the United States, including the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.
Further inquiries can be directed to Smith's Grand Island office at (308) 384-3900.
