Washington, DC — A trade agreement between the United States and the United Kingdom has been announced by President Trump. In response, Adrian Smith, Chairman of the Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee, expressed his approval.
Smith stated, "I’m pleased the Trump administration has struck an initial trade deal with one of our nation's greatest trade partners and longest-standing allies." He emphasized that this development is a crucial move towards reducing obstacles for American products in international markets and enhancing supply chain alliances.
Smith praised the Trump administration for conducting negotiations promptly, stating it benefits producers, job creators, and consumers. He noted that this agreement builds on efforts from President Trump's first term.
