Rep. Adrian Smith, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 3rd district since 2007, shared his thoughts and activities through a series of tweets on May 21, 2025. Smith succeeded Tom Osborne in Congress and previously served in the Nebraska Legislature from 1999 to 2007.

On May 21, 2025, Rep. Adrian Smith tweeted about the #OneBigBeautifulBill proposed by House Republicans. The bill aims to provide permanent relief from the Death Tax for family farms and small businesses, raise the pass-through deduction for small businesses to 23%, and increase Section 179 deductions for small businesses.

Later that day, Smith commented on President Trump's culinary preferences, extending an invitation for him to visit Nebraska anytime to enjoy what he described as "one big beautiful" steak.

In another tweet on May 21, Smith expressed pleasure at beginning his day with Team Nebraska during the #NebraskaBreakfast event.

Adrian Smith was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1970 and currently resides in Gering. He is an alumnus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln where he graduated with a BA in 1993.
