Ava Laurent, former Northwest High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

Former Northwest High School standout and current Pittsburg State Gorillas player, Ava Laurent will compete in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

They begin the tournament as a number five seed against the fourth seeded Rogers State Hillcats.

The first game is on Thursday, May 8 at 3:30 p.m.
