Saturday, April 19: Hastings Senior High School standout Sophie Cerveny’s college team wins to Tennessee State Tigers

On Saturday, April 19, former Hastings Senior High School standout Sophie Cerveny’s current college team, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Tennessee State Tigers.

The game took place at Tiger Field. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. at Williams Field against Indiana State Sycamores.
