Sammy Schmidt, former Hastings Senior High School standout, played on Friday, May 2 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, May 2, former Hastings Senior High School standout Sammy Schmidt’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Wisconsin Badgers.

The game took place at Goodman Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Badgers this season.

It was the last Omaha Mavericks’ game this season
