Kaleb Carpenter, former Lexington High School standout, played on Friday, Feb. 14 in NCAA Division II baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 14, former Lexington High School standout Kaleb Carpenter’s current college team, the Fort Hays State Tigers, won 14-12 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Colorado Mines Orediggers.

The game took place at Jim Darden Field. This was their second matchup against the Orediggers this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at Crowder Field against Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions.
