On Saturday, March 1, former Northwest High School standout Ava Laurent’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Saturday, March 1, former Northwest High School standout Ava Laurent’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Augustana Vikings.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Vikings this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 2 p.m. at SBU Softball Field against Southwest Baptist Bearcats.
