Rep. Adrian Smith, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 3rd district, shared his views on economic growth and other significant issues through a series of tweets on June 9 and 10, 2025.

On June 9, Rep. Smith emphasized the importance of "unlocking economic growth, helping sidelined Americans connect with good jobs, and addressing waste, fraud, and abuse in federally funded programs" as vital for the country's fiscal health. He invited readers to explore his latest insights on building certainty for small businesses through a link provided in his tweet.

Later that day, he expressed strong support for a resolution passed by the House GOP condemning recent antisemitic attacks. In his tweet, he mentioned specific incidents in Boulder, Colorado, and outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., stating that terrorism will not be tolerated in communities.

On June 10, Rep. Smith welcomed members of the British Parliament’s Business and Trade Committee to his Washington office. In his tweet, he noted their discussion about the valuable trade relationship between their countries and how greater access for American products can benefit both nations.

Adrian Smith has served in Congress since replacing Tom Osborne in 2007. Prior to this role, he was part of the Nebraska Legislature from 1999 to 2007. Born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1970 and currently residing in Gering, Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a BA in 1993.
