Rep. Adrian Smith, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska's 3rd district since 2007, recently shared his views and activities through a series of tweets on June 13, 2025.

In a tweet posted at 2:43 AM UTC, Smith expressed his stance on international affairs by stating that "Israel maintains the right to defend itself against Iran’s decades-long threat to its existence, especially in light of recent developments within Iran’s nuclear program." He also extended his thoughts and prayers to Americans in the Middle East as more information about the situation became available.

Later that day, at 5:12 PM UTC, Smith informed his constituents about upcoming opportunities for assistance from his staff. He announced that "My staff will be in O’Neill & Alma next week. Please stop by if you need help with a federal agency or have thoughts to share!"

Adrian Smith was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1970 and currently resides in Gering. A graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a BA obtained in 1993, he previously served in the Nebraska Legislature from 1999 until joining Congress.
