It's fair time in Frontier County!!!
Here's some reminders and updates.
Please make sure you read clear to the end…it may affect your 4-H family's plans!
Shooting Sports: Contest is Saturday, July 23 in Stockville at 8:00 am for archery, small bore rifle & .22 and 11:00 am for BB gun, air pistol and air rifle, with shotgun being Monday night beginning at 6:00 pm at the Curtis Gun Club.
Stockville Static Exhibits: The Frontier County Fair flyer that you may have seen around town has an incorrect schedule for Tuesday, July 26th.
The correct schedule is as follows: 4:30 pm-7:00 pm - ALL 4-H static exhibits will be entered and interview judged, including rockets & 4-H Clover Kid Entries (NO pets) at the North Fair Building;
5:30 pm-8:00 pm - 4-H Bake Sale & Decorated Cake Silent Auction will be open to the public and the auction will close July 27th at 5:00 pm.
Stockville Market Beef Exhibitors: You MUST bring your brand papers when you check in on July 28 if you even think you may sell at the auction. The brand inspector will be present.
All Livestock Exhibitors: All 4-H livestock on the fairgrounds are subject to be used for the livestock judging contest on July 28 in Stockville or August 6 in Eustis. Please let Kathy know if you really don't want your animals used.
All Livestock Exhibitors: Remember to look for the rough draft livestock show program to determine if tag numbers, weights and other information is correct BEFORE the programs are printed for the shows. Look for a rough draft after livestock check-in.
