Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE) issued a statement regarding the June 28 shooting in Crete, Nebraska.
"My heart sank upon learning of the violence which took place in Crete yesterday. The response and cooperation of local and state law enforcement has been exemplary. I also commend the emergency personnel who provided immediate medical care. I am thankful to know those injured are recovering and am praying for their full recovery."
